Descriptive extensions of .ma

Naming areas include the main extension “.ma”. They also include descriptive extensions or extensions of the “.ma” domain.

These descriptive extensions are intended to describe a specific activity or title. They are divided into:

• net.ma for Internet service providers;
• ac.ma for academies and educational institutions authorized by the competent authorities;
• org.ma for organizations and associations;
• gov.ma for government agencies;
• press.ma for press organizations authorized by the competent authorities;
• co.ma for commercial organizations.

The descriptive extensions “.gov.ma”, “.ac.ma” and “.press.ma” are restrictive. They require the demonstration of your right (as the applicant) on the domain names under these restrictive extensions, by completing the “.ma” domain name registration application form requiring a prior examination by the ANRT
