Windows hosting is indicated for all those who specifically need Microsoft technologies like ASP.net, Microsoft SQLServer under IIS server. Our Windows offers are available on Windows 2012 with the latest version of IIS and Plesk as control panel.
The development platform of your website does not matter when it comes to hosting it. Indeed to host a website there are 3 main elements to take into account.
1- What programming language does the web site use to host? (PHP, .NET, .ASP, are the most used today) 2- Which Database Manager does my website use? (Mysql, SQLServer, PostgreSQL …?) 3- Which Web Server do I need? (Apache? IIS? Tomcat? Lite speed, Nginx …?) The answer to these 3 questions will determine if you should choose a package under Windows or Linux. In general if your website or application does not require SQL Server with ASP or .Net you can still host in Linux and this even if your site has been develloped using Windows.
Simply because the licensing and maintenance of Windows systems are more expensive than on Linux where the cost is reported on your bills.Make sure you really need to host on Windows otherwise you can choose our linux packs that are used by more than 95% of our customers. Of course, everything we offer as a service is done in the state of the art. You can use the email addresses included in our hosting packages without any problem.
We advise you anyway if you are a business and you can not afford even a minute of stopping the mail, to separate it from the hosting for several reasons:
Web sites are vulnerable if you do not update them constantly, in case of hacking on your website your mail can be strongly impacted.
To fight against spam, all our hosting packages have a limit of sending mail per hour. If your company uses email a lot in addition to emails generated by your website, you can quickly reach this limit and have to wait until the next hour to send new messages.
We do not offer advanced support for messaging on hosting plans. In case of problems, you have to create a ticket and wait for the response from the technical support, unlike the professional messaging system, or our technicians can intervene at any time by accessing your computer remotely if necessary to help you solve any problem that may arise.
